We understand Spanish Lakes residents may have questions about our proposed plans for Indrio Groves. We look forward to being good neighbors and to addressing any community concerns.

Traffic

We are committed to minimizing traffic impacts:

  • The main entrance is planned to be located off of Kobelgard Road which can absorb much of the new traffic from the community.
  • A new roundabout is anticipated to be created on Spanish Lakes Boulevard at our entrance to help control traffic flow. The roundabout would be designed with what is known as a slip lane, to help make it easy for Spanish Lakes residents to by-pass the roundabout.
  • Multiple access points and roadway improvements are planned to prevent traffic from concentrating at a single entrance.
  • Intersection upgrades at Indrio Rd. & I-95 and Johnston Rd are planned to improve regional traffic movement.
  • The extension of Russos Road will provide an additional east–west connection to support long-term area growth.

 

Buffering and Viewshed

There should be little to no visual impact to residents of Spanish Lakes.

In addition to the Spanish Lakes golf course that already separates us from the Spanish Lakes community to our west, Indrio Groves will also have an additional 100-foot buffer to the east of the golf course. Within this setback will be a berm about 10 feet tall.

A 250-foot-wide Tree Preservation Park will also provide a natural green edge along portions of the community, enhancing long-term visual protection and open space continuity.

 

Utilities & Infrastructure

Infrastructure improvements associated with Indrio Groves are designed not only to serve the new homes, but to enhance long-term utility capacity and reliability for neighboring communities.

  • Indrio Groves will connect to St. Lucie County public water and sewer utilities, no wells or septic systems are proposed.
  • New 12” and 16” watermain extensions are planned, including additional extension toward Spanish Lakes to strengthen regional water service.
  • Utilities are being designed to meet long-term growth needs, helping avoid future retrofit disruptions.
